Who we are

A group of Finance Professionals, Seasoned Investor and Corporate Practitioner set up an Investment Advisory Services Company in February 2019 and opened its doors for clients in March 2019. So we are a new start-up, with fresh new ideas, products and solutions. Our client is an individual who wants to achieve certain saving and investment goals, our clients are the Trustees who want to fulfill their responsibility of managing the hard earned money of employees, our client is a Non-Resident Pakistani who is far away but he wants to start investing in Pakistan, our client is every one who wants a professional firm who could Separately Manage his Account to achieve unique individual saving and investment goals.

Kifayah Investment Management Limited is a public limited company registered as a Non Banking Finance Company and licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to carry out Investment Advisory Services.

We manage stocks listed in PSX-KMI All Shares Index (index of Shariah compliant companies), Sukuks, Commodities, Mutual Funds and deposits with Islamic Banks and Shariah Compliant windows of Conventional Banks.

Muhammad Rashid Zafer Independent Director

Mr. Rashid Zafar is associated with The Indus Hospital. He has worked at Al Meezan during 2014 to 2017 as head of Internal Audit and Compliance. He worked as Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls at the Trustee department of CDC for over 5 years. He is also a fellow member of ICAP.

Chief Executive Officer

Muhammad Faisal Hafeez, Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan (ICAP) , he joined Al Meezan Investment Management Limited (AMIML) in 2006 and served in different roles. Last position held was Head of Business Development and Operations. In 2018, when he left, AMIML had become the largest Shariah Compliant Asset Management Company in Pakistan.

At AMIML, he was initially involved in setting up of a separate Middle Office Function in the Company. Later on he developed a Business Development Function with prime objective of increasing service satisfaction level for the investors of the Company who were either being serviced through the sales team or direct interaction with the Company throughout Pakistan and abroad.

During implementation phase it was realized that many of the investor needs cannot be met with existing methods and new and innovative ways have to be developed to service those needs. This lead to the idea of setting up a platform specifically created to serve individual needs of the investors.

He left AMIML in 2018 to start Kifayah Investment Management Limited with support from other like minded sponsors. He is an Alumni of A. F. Ferguson and Co, having experience of over 20 years in the field of Asset Management, Audit, Tax and General Takaful.
